This was another extremely hot day, with thunderstorms at night, typical highveld weather!
They got married at Olifants River Lodge outside Middelburg, and though it was a small and intimate wedding with close friends and family, they celebrated well into the night!
Mariet's dress was quite something spectacular, just love the frills! Well, congratulations you guys, and hope that you will come and visit often on the farm...

Well, something that I picked up from this couple is that the old tradition of not seeing each other before the wedding, is definately a good thing! They were so happy to finally be together, that they could not keep their hands off each other, which makes my job so easy!

They got married at Brunfelsia outside Bethal, and were having the time of their lives! Henk definately was the most nervous groom I have ever seen, he was chatting all the way to the ceremony! Really fun... And Janie was a replica of Sarah Jessica Parker, she looked georgeous...

Enjoy these few pictures, just something little of whats to come!

With love

This was by far one of the hottest days of my life! Tzaneen is definately not the place to be close to December! But that could not kill the fun and laughter that accompanied this wedding!

Olivia and Thembelani took the day on with big smiles, and I could see that they were happy to be there. We started at 08:00 in the morning, as the service started at 11:00, but still the reception continued until late into the night, as there was lots of dancing to catch up to!

Well guys, I hope you enjoy this teaser, and that you will be looking forward to your album...

Luck is when you drive to a venue, and it is pouring with rain for a week now...then when you need to take the couple shots, it stops! Everything is muddy and wet, but at least it is not necessary for an umbrella...

Hannes and Adele got married at Stille Eeden, outside Ogies, and Eden is the correct description. They were a georgeous couple, looking very modern in their white suits, with lilac and pink. Adele was a stunning bride, looking so natural on her shots.

Thank you for playing along in the wet conditions, and sorry for taking you into the veld, rather than onto the neatly cut grass!

Enjoy the few pics I have on the blog, and hope you enjoy your trip to the islands!

Take care,
Sune

When I studied, the lecturer started almost every class with, "Its all about light...', And that is exactly what we had for this wedding shoot session.
Here on the highveld we don't have the best of light, but this Saturday it was exceptional...And that makes a great wedding so much better! I really thank God for that. It gives us the opportunity to capture great images...
KAllie and Eileen are a real fun couple, we had so much laughter going around, it was lots of fun to work with them. Oh, and I just loved the jelliebeans on the tables, when last did you have some juicy jelliebeans?

Well, I hope you enjoy the sneak peak of what is to come...

Lots of love

"Baby ek like jou soos jy is...my hart klop tjoklits..." Well done Kallie, not many grooms that have the guts to do that!!!

This is my very first baby to be uploaded to my blog...Good to show that I keep myself busy with all kinds of photography.
Shame, at just 1week and 3 days old, Hannes kept himself very brave, if you keep in mind that there are more important things to do like feeding and sleeping, than posing!
Congratulations to the proud Hannes and Chantell, may he bring you lots of pleasure!

Every time I look at this couple, the same thought goes trough my mind...'What a lovely couple...!'
May it continue to be like this forever, and may this book remind you of what a special couple you are!

Wow, what a loving wedding this was. It was filled with friends and family, laughter and love...For me, Victor and Lucia was a true example of a couple deeply in love, and weddings like this is so easy to photograph, as the whole day is filled with millions of special moments.

After the ceremony, we went to a nearby golf course for the family and couple photographs. The reception was held at the Italian club, (I loved the lasagna!!!), where I was busy until 11:30pm!! As I already said, the day was filled with lots of Kodak moments!

Lucia and Victor, it was a honor to photograph your special day, and may it continue to be special forever! Hope you had a wonderful time in Mauritius...

Lots of love

And to end the night of, a lot of fun, can you spot the white shoes and socks?

At last, my first post and pics! After a long break this winter, the weddings are up and running again, which is great. And with this, I start off with Hendrik and Bernadette.
After lots of work, and quite a busy day, I think they can sit back and say, 'What a lovely day it was!'

As they will be staying on a farm outside Sarel Cilliers, we decided to take the pictures on their farm. Just a pity the light caught up with us. But we did what we could, even if it meant taking pics in total darkness.

It was great meeting you guys, and I hope you had a wonderfull time in Knysna...

Sune
PS: Enjoy!!!
